Dear Flagstaff,
After careful deliberation with my colleagues and family, I am thrilled to announce my acceptance as Acting Principal of Flagstaff Charter Academy. In the two short years I have been a part of this community, the sense of awe and appreciation I first experienced has not waned a bit. I have never seen such parent support for teachers, nor have I ever seen a board work as hard to secure such an immediate and lasting place in charter school history. Our students are a testament to the success and diligence of our tremendous faculty. Parents, board members, students and teachers, know that I am here to serve you for this interim period, and I will do so with great effort and transparency.
I was humbled by the warm reception I received from our expert staff and savvy parent body. Thank you for your confidence. My door, particularly after C.S.A.P. testing subsides next Friday, is open to you all. I will update the Principal's web page soon, so please stay tuned. As you know, the next 120 days of transition are critical to the future of our school. We will continue to deliver the level of programming we expect from ourselves next year. Our transition will be efficient, calculated, and executed with precision. The partnerships we forge with incoming families promise to enrich our community and extend our academic and scholastic outreach.I look forward to forging new relationships with those of you whom I have yet to meet. Day by day I acquaint myself with more and more students, and day by day my respect for and trust in the greater Flagstaff community grows.
